Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Director of Operations for a global nuclear instrumentation manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in leading regulated manufacturing operations and P&L management looking to further their career in senior operations leadership.
Serve as site General Manager for a 66-person facility, owning operational, financial, and strategic results
Lead daily operations, change management, on-time delivery, and quality in a highly regulated environment
Drive lean, continuous improvement, and capital investment priorities
Partner with HR on union relations and CBA administration
Serve as senior customer and facility point of contact, internal and external
Essential Qualifications
5+ years managing P&L and running an organization; proven people leadership (flexible on total years)
Regulated manufacturing background (nuclear, Navy, defense, aerospace, medical) plus Lean/Six Sigma and union experience
Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, or related field; US citizenship required
Bonus Qualifications
MBA or master's; Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience growing a business; ITAR/EAR or government contracting
