Description
The Director of Operations will be responsible for:
- Overseeing robot and automation manufacturing, purchasing, parts, and inventory operations
- Establishing operational metrics and identifying opportunities for performance improvement
- Implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and increase throughput
- Coordinating efforts across operations, engineering, technology and customer service teams
- Managing departmental leaders while supporting workforce development and operational goals
Profile
A Successful Director of Operations will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of manufacturing or operations leadership experience
- Strong background in automation, robotics, packaging machinery, or industrial equipment manufacturing
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and departmental managers
- Demonstrated success improving throughput, delivery performance, and operational efficiency
- Strong continuous improvement and process optimization experience
- Excellent financial, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required
