Director of Operations for Colonial Life Arena and Coliseum, reports to the Senior Assistant General Manager for CLA . Position provides overall administrative planning, direction and policy creation and interpretation to operating managers, assuring the highest quality service. Ensures an effective and cost-efficient program by controlling departmental operating budget. Manages, supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the facility, including engineering, maintenance, set-up/changeovers, custodial, housekeeping and grounds keeping.
Minimum and Additional Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements. Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to multi-task under time limits.
• Attention to precise details.
• Interpersonal skills including: ability to direct, motivate, and inform staff.
• Foster collaboration.
• Ability to recognize and resolve conflicts.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using CAD (Computer-Aided Drafting), for the purpose of building seating diagrams and rigging points.
