Kidder Owens Dental is a fee-for-service dental practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with nine operatories and a clinical focus that includes aesthetic and restorative dentistry, implant surgery and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign, oral surgery, and TMD management. We are creating a new Director of Operations role to take full ownership of the practice's day-to-day business operations — freeing our doctor-partners to focus fully on patient care while the practice continues to grow.

Position Summary


Kidder Owens Dental is a fee-for-service dental practice in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with nine operatories and a clinical focus that includes aesthetic and restorative dentistry, implant surgery and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, Invisalign, oral surgery, and TMD management. Primary Responsibilities


•        Liaison between doctors and the team


•        Promoting healthy practice growth


•        Accounts receivable and billing oversight


•        Team management- from onboarding to daily coaching when needed


•        Human resources


•        Regulatory and compliance oversight


•        Payroll administration


•        Vendor and supply management



Qualifications


•        Proven track record in office/practice management


•        Dental or medical practice management experience preferred; broader small-business or healthcare operations experience will also be considered


•        Strong communication and organizational skills



Compensation & Benefits


•        Base salary: $75,000 with increases tied to individual and practice performance


•        Eligible for the Director of Operations Incentive Compensation Plan (to be reviewed during interview process)

Schedule


•        Full-time


•        Patient hours are 8:00-4:00 (M, Th), 7:00-4:00 (Tu, Wed), 7:00-12:00 (2 Fri/month)


•        Will require some hours outside of patient care hours.  Remote work occasionally TBD and mutually agreed upon
