Position Overview
Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Nursing – Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations in Benton, Arkansas. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing surgical services, including Pre-Op, PACU, Post-Op, Gastroenterology, and Operating Room functions while ensuring exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and staff engagement.
The Director will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and executive teams to optimize surgical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and drive departmental performance. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $100,000 to $150,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to lead a critical service line within a growing healthcare organization.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Director-level leadership role.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Strong clinical and operational knowledge of perioperative services, including:
- Pre-Operative Services
- Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Post-Operative Care
- Gastroenterology Services
- Surgical Services / Operating Room
- Proven leadership experience managing clinical operations, staff development, and quality initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred.
- Experience managing 60 or more full-time employees (FTEs).
- Acute care hospital leadership experience.
- Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning skills.
