Director of Nursing (RN) – Surgical Services

A hospital in Wilson, NC is seeking a senior-level Director of Nursing (RN) – Surgical Services. This is an on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing operations within a surgical services department. The position does not require travel or relocation, and visa sponsorship is not available.

The role. The Director of Nursing – Surgical Services provides clinical and administrative leadership for the surgical nursing division. This individual is responsible for directing day-to-day nursing operations, guiding departmental staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care within surgical services. The position carries accountability for operational oversight in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.

What we're looking for.

• 5 years of Operating Room experience
• 3 years of management or leadership experience
• Current RN License (NC) or compact RN License
• Preferred: Experience in budgeting, staff development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance

Compensation. $104,000 - $140,000 per year
