Director of Nursing

Felician Village is seeking a dedicated mission-oriented and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to provide clinical leadership over our 64-bed, CMS 5-star rated, skilled nursing facility. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate RN leader who is committed to delivering exceptional resident care, developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of excellence.

As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all clinical operations, ensuring high quality care, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care are being delivered, while also building strong inter-personal relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Position Summary

The Director of Nursing provides leadership and oversight of the Nursing Department to ensure high-quality resident care is being maintaining in addition to maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations. This position works closely with the President/CEO/NHA and interdisciplinary team to promote clinical excellence and a resident-first philosophy throughout our health care ministry.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all nursing operations and clinical services.
• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff and department leaders.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
• Oversee staffing, quality improvement (QAPI), infection prevention, and clinical documentation.
• Implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Manage departmental budgets and resources.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with ACOs and key system partners on clinical outcome goals

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 3-5 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Point Click Care or another EHR
