About the Role:FELIHEAL HOME HEALTHCARE SERVICES is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and elevate our clinical operations in Chester, NJ. Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all clinical nursing operations and home healthcare staff
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, aides, and clinical team members
- Conduct patient assessments and ensure individualized care plans are developed and followed
- Monitor and maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards for home health agencies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives
- Manage clinical documentation, reporting, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements:- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Prior experience in home healthcare, hospice, or community health preferred
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and home health compliance standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records (EHR)
- BSN required; MSN or advanced degree preferred
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to patient-centered care
