MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of EDTC is to offer the highest quality and professional inpatient detoxification, residential treatment, Partial Hospital Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and outpatient services.

SUMMARY

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the daily medical/clinical operation of the facility in collaboration with the Medical Director. This is an administrative leadership role supervising nursing and technician staff while ensuring compliance with regulatory and patient care standards.

Adult (18 & older)

Individuals with substance use disorders with or without co-occurring psychiatric conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

7. Oversee daily clinical operations with Medical Director
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
9. Participate in data reporting and planning
10. Assist with workflow and administrative processes
11. Support hiring and training
12. Manage staffing schedules
13. Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols
14. Provide patient care when needed
15. Handle incidents and medication errors
16. Maintain confidentiality standards
17. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
18. Oversee infection control
19. Manage testing and compliance programs
20. Ensure staff training and competency
21. Maintain safe medication systems
22. Perform additional duties as needed

Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care including mental, physical, and social needs. Provides education and adjusts care plans accordingly.
