    My client, a leading provider of comprehensive behavioral health services, is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee all nursing operations at one of their facilities in the Canton, OH area. This organization is dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, evidence-based care and offers a full continuum of services, including inpatient, outpatient, and specialized programs for mental health and substance use treatment.

    In this role, the Director of Nursing will:

    • Supervise the nursing management team and ensure appropriate staffing for inpatient programs.

    • Oversee evaluation processes for nursing staff and delegate responsibilities as needed.

    • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

    • Serve as a liaison between physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff.

    • Monitor patient satisfaction data and report findings to performance improvement committees.

    • Support onboarding, training, and continued professional development for staff.

    • Analyze statistical data to identify and respond to clinical and operational trends.

    • Act as a role model for excellent patient care and customer service.



    Requirements

    • BSN or MSN in Nursing; must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Ohio.

    • Minimum of 3 years of clinical management experience in behavioral health.

    • Proven experience developing and maintaining clinical policies and protocols.

    • Strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing, medication management, and therapeutic environments.

    • Familiarity with behavioral health regulations and compliance requirements.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Current CPR certification.
