Location: Milwaukee, WI

Facility: St. Francis Hospital

Specialty: Emergency Department, Med Surg, and ICU 

Schedule: Days | Full-time

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Lead multi-department clinical operations across the ICU, medical-surgical, and emergency departments, aligning workflows and resources to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
  • Empower and grow your nursing team by championing recruitment, onboarding, performance development, and continuing education initiatives that foster a culture of clinical excellence.
  • Elevate the patient experience by overseeing assessment standards, care planning, and service delivery, while proactively addressing feedback to continuously improve care quality.
  • Shape strategic goals and compliance for your departments, establishing objectives that meet medical, legal, and ethical standards to keep our healthcare delivery safe and forward-thinking.
  • Drive financial and operational health by managing departmental budgets and navigating internal and external audits, ensuring resources are optimally allocated to support frontline caregivers.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job
    transfer date required. Current home state license, if considered multi-state/Compact State, also accepted.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing, required.
  • Master's degree, or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience, preferred.

Work Experience:

 

  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Previous experience leading multiple specialty areas at a director level.
