Director of NPI Sourcing and Operations

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing or related engineering field. 12+ years of senior-level supply chain operations and NPI management in consumer electronics or high-performance compute hardware sectors
• Deep, hands-on experience launching complex systems such as laptops, graphics workstations, or modular computing
• Proven history of managing large Capex budgets and negotiating multi-million dollar MSAs and SOWs with top-tier Asian contract manufacturers
• Experience with strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and intellectual property protections
• Ability to scale global NPI operations and lead cross-functional teams effectively
• Experience with automated assembly lines, testing frameworks, and manufacturing process optimization
• Knowledge of thermal management, liquid cooling, and high-performance silicon integration
• Familiarity with logistics, global distribution, procurement planning, and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end NPI lifecycle for complex workstation architectures from concept through mass production.
• Establish and manage flawless Clear-To-Build processes optimizing manufacturing operations for thermodynamic and volumetric constraints.
• Develop and execute system outsourcing strategies, evaluating and onboarding Tier-1 ODMs within the Asian supply chain.
• Own and negotiate complex contracts including MSAs, SOWs, and intellectual property protections.
• Manage Capex budgets, implement automation initiatives, and optimize manufacturing cost, quality, and time-to-volume.
• Architect and oversee a resilient global supply chain ensuring critical component availability and seamless logistics.
