This leadership role combines clinical music therapy with program development to enhance the quality of life for older adults through meaningful, person-centered engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and provide individual and group music therapy services.
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, documentation, and outcome evaluations.
- Lead and support the Life Enrichment team in delivering engaging resident programs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate music therapy into resident care.
- Develop innovative wellness programs and community partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from an AMTA-accredited program.
- MT-BC preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in healthcare or senior living preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
