Director of Manufacturing
Our client, a leading flooring manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead plant operations and drive operational excellence. This individual will oversee production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring manufacturing goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across the facility.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and mentor manufacturing leadership and production teams.
- Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality to support operational goals.
- Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, budgets, and overall plant performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience in flooring, building products, wood products, or other industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
