We are hiring a Director of Labor and Delivery, Womens Services for a reputable 355-bed regional medical center located in Hickory, North Carolina just over an hours drive from Charlotte. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and NICU units. Oversee all clinical and operational aspects of L&D, Postpartum, Nursery, and NICU units
Ensure high-quality and safe patient care through competency development, protocols, and staff leadership
Manage budgeting, staffing, performance, and compliance across assigned units
Provide clinical oversight and support when needed; maintain 24/7 accountability
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance development of nursing personnel
Champion hospital quality standards and patient satisfaction initiatives
Serve as a key liaison to senior leadership and interdisciplinary teams
Current RN license in North Carolina
Bachelors degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
BLS certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification
Minimum 5 years of RN experience
Masters Degree (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related)
2+ years of management or director-level experience
Strong leadership, communication, and regulatory compliance skills
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid over 2 years)
