Description
Conduct client needs analyses, policy reviews, and carrier and product comparisons to identify the most suitable solutions.
Design and deliver insurance strategies as part of comprehensive financial plans, in partnership with the firm's advisors.
Drive insurance department revenue growth through new client acquisition, cross-selling within the firm's existing client base, and expansion of product and service offerings.
Build and lead the insurance department, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff as the practice grows.
Track and report on department performance, production metrics, and client retention.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in insurance sales or planning, with a proven track record building or leading an insurance practice or department.
Active life and health insurance license required; property and casualty license preferred.
CLU, ChFC, or similar insurance-focused designation preferred; CFP a plus.
Deep knowledge of life, disability income, and long-term care insurance products and underwriting.
Experience integrating insurance planning within a wealth management or financial planning practice strongly preferred.
