A growing distribution organization serving restaurant, hospitality, and foodservice markets is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead enterprise technology operations and modernization initiatives across the business.

This role will oversee infrastructure, ERP systems, cybersecurity, vendor management, and technology strategy while partnering closely with executive leadership to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and long-term technology governance. The environment includes legacy operational systems, warehouse and inventory platforms, and evolving cloud infrastructure initiatives.
What You ll Tackle
  • Lead modernization initiatives across infrastructure, cloud environments, and operational systems
  • Oversee ERP, warehouse, fulfillment, and business systems integrations
  • Drive cybersecurity, governance, and IT operational best practices
  • Partner with finance and operations leaders to improve business processes through technology
  • Manage IT vendors, budgets, and strategic technology roadmaps
  • Support inventory-heavy operational workflows and distribution systems
  • Improve reporting, data visibility, and operational reliability
  • Mentor and develop internal IT resources while building long-term organizational capability
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Experience supporting distribution, warehouse, fulfillment, or inventory-driven environments
  • Strong ERP systems background tied to finance and operational workflows
  • Infrastructure and cloud technology leadership experience
  • Experience modernizing legacy technology environments
  • Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and governance best practices
  • Ability to lead both strategically and operationally in lean organizations
  • Strong cross-functional communication and executive stakeholder management skills
  • Vendor and project portfolio management experience
  • Experience driving operational efficiency through automation and process improvement
