Job Title: Director of Human Resources / HR Director
Location: Southern California
Compensation: $170,000 to $195,000 annually

Position Summary: The Human Resources Director is responsible for building a high-performing workplace and managing comprehensive HR risk. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employment claims and agency complaints, coordinate with outside counsel, and escalate litigation matters to ownership. Additionally, you will lead our HR team and optimize our HRIS workflows to improve automation and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of HR experience (3+ years in leadership).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Expertise in CA employment law, leaves, accommodations, and discipline.
- Experience overseeing payroll controls.
- Strong communication and judgment skills.
- Experience with platforms like Rippling or ServiceTitan preferred.
