Director of Human Resources

A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead key HR functions and support a positive, engaged workplace.
Reporting to the senior HR leader, this individual will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compensation initiatives while partnering with leadership to address workforce needs and improve HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment strategies and hiring activities for clinical and non-clinical positions.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, workplace concerns, and HR policies.
- Manage performance review processes and support employee development.
- Assist with compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and job evaluations.
- Ensure HR practices align with employment laws and organizational policies.
- Identify workforce trends and recommend improvements to HR operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience.
- Background in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compensation.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification required.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
