    About the Role

    This is a highly visible enterprise HR leadership opportunity for an experienced healthcare executive ready to operate with broad, CHRO-level scope.

    Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Senior HR Executive will serve as a key advisor and partner on workforce strategy, culture, organizational effectiveness, and operational improvement. This individual will provide strategic and operational leadership across the HR function, with broad responsibility spanning talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, HR technology, employee engagement, provider recruitment and compensation, Employee Health, and other workforce programs.


    The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape the people strategy of a complex, multi-facility healthcare system.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer and senior leaders to develop and execute HR and workforce strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
    • Provide strategic leadership across HR functions supporting a complex, multi-facility healthcare system and multi-state workforce.
    • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives related to talent acquisition, workforce planning, retention, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Provide leadership for labor and employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, compliance, and positive labor-management relationships.
    • Oversee compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and reward strategies to attract and retain clinical and non-clinical talent.
    • Provide oversight of Employee Health programs and initiatives supporting employee safety, wellness, and regulatory compliance.
    • Support provider recruitment and compensation strategies to attract and retain physician and advanced practice talent.
    • Lead HR operations, including HRIS, onboarding, compliance, policy administration, and continuous process improvement.
    • Leverage technology and data to improve HR processes and the candidate and employee experience.
    • Build strong partnerships with clinical, operational, and system leaders to ensure people strategies support organizational priorities.
    • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing HR leadership team.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
    • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least five years in a senior HR leadership role within a healthcare environment.
    • Experience leading across multiple HR functions.
    • Experience within acute care hospitals and multi-facility healthcare systems.
    • Experience supporting a remote, multi-state workforce.
    • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment and labor laws, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
    • Master’s degree and/or professional HR certification such as SHRM or SPHR preferred.


    Leadership Profile

    The successful candidate will be a strategic yet hands-on HR executive who is comfortable operating with broad enterprise-level responsibility in a complex healthcare environment. They will bring strong business partnership skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build trusted relationships across executive, clinical, operational, and HR leadership teams.

    This individual should be an effective change leader with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and the ability to translate organizational priorities into actionable people strategies.
