    DIRECTOR OF HOUSEKEEPING
    Luxury Hotel • Boston, Massachusetts • USD $105K - $125K + Competitive and comprehensive benefits package
     
    ABOUT THE ROLE
    We are looking for a Director of Housekeeping for a landmark Forbes luxury hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for ensuring all guest accommodation and front and back of house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership experience in a luxury, fast-paced hospitality environment.
     
    WHAT YOU'LL DO
    • Lead and manage all Housekeeping department operations, including staffing, scheduling, training, and daily task assignment
    • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across all guest rooms, suites, and public areas
    • Handle guest interactions and resolve complaints with professionalism, warmth, and a genuine commitment to service recovery
    • Ensure the department meets its financial targets through effective cost control, labour management, and budget oversight
    • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing Housekeeping team
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistent adherence to luxury service and cleanliness standards
    • Collaborate cross-departmentally to support a seamless and exceptional guest experience
     
    WHAT YOU BRING
    • Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or in a senior Housekeeping leadership role within a luxury hotel environment
    • Forbes experience is a strong advantage
    • Strong leadership and team development skills with experience managing large, diverse housekeeping teams
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • A genuine passion for service excellence and maintaining the highest standards
    • Must have valid US work authorization - visa sponsorship is not available
