As a Director of Engineering and Facilities, you will provide leadership to the facilities maintenance engineers by providing development and management training, guidance for various computerized maintenance management system implementations, and leadership training on how to interface between the maintenance team and other departments. You will also deliver weekly updates to the Vice President of Development and Construction and assist in developing & managing a best in class facilities program. Prior hotel experience is greatly preferred but comparable demonstrated experience will be considered.

Qualifications
Experience (Minimum Needed):
10 years in Facilities Management with a focus on operations and maintenance of hotel properties with at least 7 of those years managing others.
Oversight of facilities management of multiple properties is highly preferred.
Prior experience as a chief engineer at a large hotel is a plus
Fire Safety Director certification is a plus
Travel Requirement is 50% both in-state (CO) and out-of-state as needed. Position is based in Corporate office in Colorado.
Education:
BS in Engineering or comparative work experience.
Specialized Knowledge Needed for Performance of Job:
Must have above average written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Must be computer literate, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must have math calculation
Must have a professional appearance & behavior.
Must have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance rules and regulations as they pertain to maintenance operations.
