    About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Growth Hacking & CRO to own the full funnel from first click to funded deal. You will run OPF's experimentation engine, find and fix the leaks in our landing pages and application flow, and launch scrappy, measurable growth bets that move funded volume. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will set the testing roadmap, partner closely with paid media, product, engineering, and sales, and personally dig into the data to find the next lift.

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the end-to-end conversion funnel (ad click landing page application start application complete qualified funded) and set quarterly CVR and cost-per-funded targets with the CMO.
    • Build and run a high-velocity experimentation program (A/B, multivariate, and holdout tests) with a prioritized backlog, clear hypotheses, pre-defined success metrics, and statistically sound readouts.
    • Redesign and optimize landing pages and the multi-step application flow for a mobile-first audience (~80% mobile traffic), reducing friction, form drop-off, and time-to-submit.
    • Lead bilingual (English/Spanish) experience optimization, ensuring Spanish-speaking merchants get native, culturally relevant journeys rather than translations.
    • Design and launch growth loops and new acquisition experiments: referral programs, partner and embedded offers, re-engagement of abandoned applications, SMS/WhatsApp nurture, and lead-pool reactivation.
    • Partner with Paid Media leads to align ad creative, audience, and landing page message match by channel (Meta, Google, TikTok, Omnichannel, Affiliate).
    • Work with Sales and Underwriting to connect marketing conversion to downstream lead quality, approval rate, and funded volume, so we optimize for revenue, not form fills.
    • Partner with the Google Analytics / Tagging Manager to ensure every test is instrumented correctly, with clean event tracking and offline conversion feedback to ad platforms.
    • Build trust and credibility on-page (reviews, transparent product explanation, security cues, compliant disclosures) in a regulated financial services category.
    • Hire, coach, and lead a small team of CRO specialists, UX/UI designers, and/or analysts, and manage relevant agency and tool vendors.
    • Report test results, wins, and learnings to the executive team in clear business language with revenue impact attached.

    How Success Is Measured

    • Landing page and application conversion rate improvement by channel and device.
    • Cost per qualified lead and cost per funded deal reduction.
    • Test velocity (tests launched per month) and win rate, with documented learnings.
    • Lead-to-funded rate and incremental funded volume attributable to growth initiatives.

    Requirements

    • 5–7 years of experience in growth marketing, CRO, or product experimentation, ideally in fintech, lending, insurance, or another lead-gen / high-consideration category.
    • Proven track record of running a structured testing program with measurable revenue impact; able to share specific examples and results.
    • Strong command of experimentation statistics (sample size, power, significance, novelty effects, peeking pitfalls).
    • Hands-on experience with testing and analytics tools such as VWO, Optimizely, AB Tasty, or Convert, plus GA4, Hotjar/Microsoft Clarity, and Looker Studio or similar BI tools.
    • Deep understanding of mobile UX, form design, page speed, and landing page best practices.
    • Comfort working with SQL or able to partner fluently with analysts on data pulls.
    • Experience leading people or cross-functional programs and influencing engineering and product roadmaps.
    • Excellent communicator who can turn data into a clear recommendation for executives.

    Nice to Have

    • Fluency in Spanish, or meaningful experience building campaigns for US Hispanic and Puerto Rican audiences.
    • Experience with Revenue-Based Financing, merchant cash advance, or SMB lending funnels.
    • Familiarity with financial services advertising and disclosure requirements (FTC, UDAAP, state-level rules).
    • Experience with CDPs (e.g., Tealium), marketing automation, and SMS/WhatsApp journeys.
    • Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript to build or QA test variations.

    Benefits

    • Competitive salary
    • Performance-based incentives
    • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
    • 401(k) and paid time off
    • The opportunity to shape a fast-growing marketing organization and have a direct impact on company growth
    • Growth and development opportunities
    • Dynamic and collaborative work environment
    • Company events and team-building activities
