Job Overview
The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Director of Franchise Engagement to guide franchise owners through the development journey from franchise agreement signing through new center opening.Serving as a primary connection between franchisees and corporate teams, this role keeps owners informed, projects moving, and stakeholders aligned throughout site selection, real estate development, pre-construction, and opening preparation.


What You’ll Do:


Lead the Franchisee Experience
  •  Serve as a primary point of contact for franchise owners throughout the development process 
  •  Guide franchisees through key milestones, expectations, decisions, and next steps 
  •  Provide clear and consistent updates regarding project status, site activity, and development timelines 
  •  Build trusted relationships while setting expectations and maintaining accountability 
  •  Ensure questions, concerns, and action items are addressed by the appropriate internal partners 
Coordinate Franchise Development
  •  Track franchise development projects from agreement signing through site selection, pre-construction, and opening preparation 
  •  Coordinate site matching requests, site evaluations, and development activities with franchisees and internal teams 
  •  Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across the development pipeline 
  •  Identify potential delays or obstacles and escalate risks before they impact project timelines 
  •  Facilitate successful handoffs between Development and New Center Opening teams 
Partner Across the Organization
  •  Coordinate closely with Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other corporate teams 
  •  Align franchisee expectations with internal project timelines and requirements 
  •  Facilitate communication between franchise owners, brokers, developers, and corporate stakeholders 
  •  Help resolve cross-functional issues that could affect development progress or the franchisee experience 
Manage Pipeline Visibility and Processes
  •  Maintain accurate franchise development records, CRM information, project trackers, and action items 
  •  Provide visibility into project status, upcoming milestones, risks, and outstanding decisions 
  •  Support franchisee onboarding and access to required systems, resources, and processes 
  •  Identify opportunities to improve development workflows, communication, and the overall franchisee experience 
Qualifications
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Project Management, Hospitality, Operations, or related field preferred 
  •  7+ years of experience in franchise development, franchise operations, real estate development, project management, multi-unit operations, or client-facing business roles
  •  Experience working directly with franchise owners, business owners, or external clients strongly preferred 
  •  Experience in franchise, retail, restaurant, hospitality, education, or other multi-location environments preferred 
  •  Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple development timelines simultaneously 
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  •  Strong relationship management, stakeholder management, and expectation-setting abilities 
  •  Highly organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail 
  •  Experience with CRM and project management systems; Monday.com experience preferred 
  •  Ability to navigate complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment
