The Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting oversees accurate and timely SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other reports, and manages complex accounting decisions. They lead SOX compliance, maintain technical accounting policies, and administer equity compensation disclosures. The role involves preparing presentations for the Audit Committee, liaising with external auditors, and collaborating across departments to ensure financial reporting integrity.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include managing the entire SEC reporting process, developing technical memos, leading SOX process improvements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Ideal candidates possess strong technical accounting knowledge, project management skills, and excellent communication abilities, with 7+ years of relevant experience, CPA designation, and a bachelor's in accounting. The position is in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and some physical activity.
