Job DetailsJob Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance Transformation to lead our finance team in the construction industry. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company by driving strategic initiatives, implementing financial systems, and improving financial processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in finance leadership within a fast-paced environment and will be tasked with overseeing the company's finance transformation strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance transformation strategy to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the finance function.
- Develop and implement a finance systems roadmap, including ERP / EPM, workflow automation, close / consolidation, and FP&A.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Deliver financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within the finance function, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align financial strategy and operations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide leadership and development opportunities for the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in finance and accounting, including an understanding of finance systems, budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement.
- Experience with ERP / EPM, workflow automation, close / consolidation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the construction industry and its financial requirements is a plus.
