Ravenscroft is seeking a Director of Finance in the Business Office. This is a full-time, exempt, 12-month position reporting to the Associate Head of School for Business Affairs (CFOO).
This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance leader who thrives on building strong systems from the ground up. Ravenscroft is a thriving PK–12 school of 1,250 students in Raleigh, and the incoming Director will lead the School's accounting operations while designing the modern systems, policies, and practices that will serve Ravenscroft for years to come.
REPORTS TO: Associate Head of School for Business Affairs (CFOO)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Office accounting staff and school store staff (Total 3.5 employees)

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role is based on Ravenscroft’s campus and includes work in the Business Office and shared community spaces. The position requires prolonged periods working at a computer, the ability to move throughout campus, and clear communication with colleagues, families, and trustees. Workload peaks around budget development, fiscal year-end close, the annual audit, and the opening of school. Occasional evening responsibilities may be required in connection with Board and committee meetings. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
