Director of Facilities

Our client is seeking a hands-on Director of Facilities to oversee the maintenance, safety, and physical operations of a senior living community in Western South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility operations
• Lead and develop the maintenance team
• Ensure buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas are safe and well-maintained
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and vendor relationships
• Oversee facility-related budgets and expenses
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, building, and regulatory requirements
• Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts
• Support capital projects and community improvements

Qualifications:

• Previous facilities or maintenance leadership experience
• Senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or commercial property experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage staff, contractors, and vendors effectively
