Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Facilities provides strategic leadership and oversight for the organization's facilities, physical assets, operational infrastructure, and support services across multiple locations. This position ensures that all buildings, grounds, equipment, and operational systems are safe, compliant, efficient, and well maintained in support of the organization's mission and service delivery.
The Director is responsible for facilities management, maintenance, capital projects, safety, fleet, security, vendor contracts, and operational support. The position works collaboratively with executive leadership to develop long-range facility plans, manage operating and capital budgets, and maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance.
The Director of Facilities reports to the Chief Operating Officer and provides leadership and supervision to the facilities, maintenance, and custodial personnel.

CARE & TCI

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position supports multiple agency locations and requires regular travel between sites. Work is performed in both office and field environments, including maintenance shops, mechanical areas, residential campuses, grounds, and construction or renovation sites. Evening, weekend, holiday, and after-hours work may be required to respond to facility emergencies, oversee projects, or support organizational operations.
The position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, stretching, twisting, climbing stairs, and occasional climbing of ladders while conducting facility inspections. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push up to 100 pounds, and move equipment or materials as needed.
Minimal exposure to environmental factors such as noise, dust, or varying indoor/outdoor temperatures may occur depending on program needs and client-related activities.
