About the Role

This role involves overseeing facility projects, renovations, capital improvements, and new site openings across our client's property portfolio. The position exists to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget, while maintaining strong vendor and landlord relationships. It significantly contributes to the organization by coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead capital projects, renovations, and new site openings from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate with brokers, landlords, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders on facility initiatives.
  • Oversee office infrastructure installation for new and renovated locations.
  • Secure required permits and regulatory approvals; review and track project budgets and invoices.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex facilities issues.
  • Travel as needed to support projects and site openings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of commercial leases and tenant/landlord responsibilities.
  • 3–5 years of facilities or property management experience.
  • Budget oversight, vendor/contractor management, and solid communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with planning, zoning, and permitting processes.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.

Work Environment

  • Position based near Irondale, AL.
  • Regular travel required to locations around Alabama and Tennessee.
