We are seeking an experienced Estimator/PM to lead the estimating department and manage our PMs. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating and managing earthwork, utility, concrete, paving, and infrastructure.

Job DetailsSeeking a senior leader to oversee estimating, project management, and project delivery for a growing contractor (25M/yr). This individual will help drive operational efficiency, improve the transition from estimate to execution, and contribute to the company's continued growth, with a potential path into executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in heavy civil, site development, underground utility, or related construction markets
- Expert-level experience with HCSS HeavyBid and HeavyJob, including building estimates and setting up projects from the ground up
- Hands-on experience in both estimating and project management
- Strong estimating background in earthwork, grading, wet utilities, concrete, asphalt paving, and related infrastructure work
- Experience managing public-sector, municipal, utility, or agency projects, including public bidding and regulatory compliance requirements
- Proven leadership experience developing and mentoring estimators, project managers, or construction operations teams
- Strong understanding of contracts, change orders, scheduling, cost control, and job costing
- Experience with preconstruction services, including budgets, GMPs, value engineering, constructability reviews, and project pursuit strategies
- Experience supporting proposals, qualifications packages, interviews, and business development efforts
- Established relationships with owners, engineers, agencies, contractors, and industry partners is highly valued
- Experience with JOC, CMAR, design-build, or other alternative delivery methods is preferred
- Experience working on occupied or operational facilities with complex phasing, safety, and access requirements is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
- Comfortable in a hands-on leadership role within a growing organization seeking to scale its operations and market presence
