Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services (EVS) to lead housekeeping and sanitation operations within a skilled nursing facility. This role is critical to maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all environmental services operations including housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation
Ensure compliance with all infection control standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain survey readiness with a focus on cleanliness and safety
Hire, train, and manage EVS staff
Develop cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality assurance processes
Collaborate with nursing and administration on infection prevention initiatives
Manage departmental budgets, supplies, and inventory
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in EVS or housekeeping leadership in a healthcare setting (REQUIRED)
Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) strongly preferred
Strong understanding of infection control standards and cleaning protocols
Experience managing teams, schedules, and departmental operations
Ability to maintain compliance and support successful surveys
