The opportunityThis is a newly created, single accountable technology leadership role. You will build and leadour Enterprise Technology function as one team and take ownership of everything technologytouches: strategy, security, infrastructure, applications, data, talent, and spend. You will reportdirectly to our CEO and President with the mandate, and the runway, to build the technologyorganization this company needs as it scales.If you want to build something, not just maintain it, this is that role. You will bring order andsecurity to a hands-on environment, set the roadmap, grow the team, and prepare ourtechnology to scale ahead of meaningful growth.
What you will own- Strategy and roadmap
- across four areas: security and governance, IT and operations,applications and engineering, and data and analytics.
- Security and governance.
- Stand up and own a security program aligned to leadingframeworks (CIS Controls, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS), including risk, identity and access,monitoring, and incident response.
- Operations, infrastructure, and applications.
- Reliable, secure systems across everystore and distribution center, with tested backup and disaster recovery.
- Data foundation
- . Build toward a single, trusted source of truth that powers analytics andautomation.
- Team and talent.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of IT, systems, and softwareprofessionals, and hire as we scale.
- Budget and vendors
- . Own technology spend, build the business case for investment, andmanage vendor relationships.What you bring
- 10+ years in technology, including 5+ years leading teams and owning technology strategyand operations.
- Proven ownership of enterprise security, infrastructure, and applications, including buildingor maturing a security program.
- Experience scaling technology through growth: multi-site, acquisitions, or rapid expansion.
- A track record of translating business strategy into technology roadmaps and executingthem.
- Strong financial acumen: budgets, business cases, and vendor management.
- Broad command across enterprise IT, infrastructure, security, software and DevOps, anddata and analytics. You do not need to be the deepest expert in every area, but you mustlead each one credibly and earn the team's respect.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience. A master's degree andsecurity or leadership certifications (such as CISSP or CISM) are a plus.Why this role
