We are seeking a strategic and clinical leader to serve as the Director
of Emergency Services<\/b>. This role oversees a 12 -bed Emergency Department
dedicated to providing high -acuity care to critically ill adult patients. The
Director is responsible for the overall operational excellence, clinical
direction, and strategic growth of the department, ensuring all care aligns
with the highest standards of nursing practice and organizational values.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Operational & Financial Leadership<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Departmental Operations:<\/span><\/b> Direct and evaluate daily
operations, including patient care delivery, IT integration, and service
level optimization.<\/span>
<\/li> - Fiscal Accountability:<\/span><\/b> Formulate, monitor, and evaluate
the departmental budget; ensure efficient operations within allocated
funding and resource optimization.<\/span>
<\/li> - Quality & Compliance:<\/span><\/b> Lead performance improvement
activities and coordinate internal/external audits to ensure rigorous
quality control.<\/span>
<\/li> - Collaboration:<\/span><\/b> Partner with the CNO, COO, and
medical staff to interpret hospital policies and solve complex clinical or
operational challenges.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Staff Development & Talent Management<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Workforce Planning:<\/span><\/b> Manage all staffing activities,
including recruitment, hiring, orientation, and performance evaluations.<\/span>
<\/li> - Clinical Mentorship:<\/span><\/b> Create an environment that
fosters professional growth and integrates evidence -based practices into
clinical protocols.<\/span>
<\/li> - Education Initiatives:<\/span><\/b> Lead staff development and
continuing education initiatives to ensure the team remains at the
forefront of emergency nursing standards.<\/span>

Minimum Qualifications<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>
Experience & Leadership (Must -Haves)<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Emergency Leadership:<\/span><\/b>2–3 years of direct
leadership experience<\/b> specifically within Emergency Services.<\/span>
<\/li> - Operational Expertise:<\/span><\/b> Proven experience in Departmental
Operations<\/b>, including budget formulation and fiscal management.<\/span>
<\/li> - Educational Leadership:<\/span><\/b> Demonstrated experience in staff
development<\/b> and leading continuing education initiatives<\/b>.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Salary: $83,616.00 - $112,881.00<\/span><\/b>

Education & License<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- License:<\/span><\/b> Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license to work in the state of Kentucky<\/b>.<\/span>
<\/li> - Education:<\/span><\/b> Master’s degree preferred;
applicable work experience may be used in lieu of degree.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Certifications<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- BLS:<\/span><\/b> Required within one month of
hire.<\/span>
<\/li> - ACLS:<\/span><\/b> Required within six months of
hire.<\/span>
<\/li> - PALS:<\/span><\/b> Required within six months of
hire.<\/span>
