    Director of Emergency Services - Join a Strong Clinical Team

    Are you a seasoned nursing leader with a passion for high-quality emergency care? Step into a vital role that combines clinical excellence with strategic leadership, overseeing the Emergency Department in a dynamic healthcare environment. As the Director of Emergency Services, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, guiding a dedicated team, implementing process improvements, and ensuring operational efficiency—all while making a significant impact on the community you serve.

    Required Skills:

    • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensed by the NC Board of Nursing (RN license required).
    • BSN degree required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of hospital emergency department experience.
    • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines relevant to hospital and ED operations.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    Nice to Have Skills:

    • Experience with departmental process improvements and organizational projects.
    • Background in fiscal oversight and budget management.
    • Proven ability to develop staff training and clinical growth programs.
    • Experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; relevant advanced certifications a plus.
    • Demonstrated leadership in hospital emergency departments for a minimum of 2 years.
    • Knowledge of current best practices and innovations in emergency nursing.

    Other Requirements:

    • NC RN license required.
    • Flexibility to assist with shifts, including on-call or extended hours as needed.
    • Ability to work days (most likely 8a-4:30p) with occasional off-hour requirements for patient and department needs.
    • Willingness to participate in virtual and onsite interviews.
