Community Options, Inc., is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states. 
 
We are now hiring an Experienced Director of Day to provide support in Mercer County, NJ. The Director of Day Services maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person is responsible for supporting teams with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals.
Starting pay rate is $75,000+ based on experience  
Responsibilities
  • Assist with processing and approving all billing in a timely manner and checking for accuracy
  • Approve payroll in UKG and address missed punches and allocations
  • Check Therap daily, to ensure all T-Logs and ISP data are entered daily and follow-up with staff
    to get documentation completed and filed monthly
  • Attend planning meetings for individuals and document follow-up if needed
  • Ensure maintenance of program vehicles and maintain records for usage
  • Input/update/discontinue all ISP programs
  • Oversee planning and facilitate weekly day habilitation activities
  • Conduct and ensure staff training is completed
  • Provide ongoing supervision and support for community integration
  • Review all documentation of daily outings
  • Assist in building a support network between the individual, family members, and the
    community
  • Assist with filling open direct support professional shifts and covers them, if necessary
  • Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or
    investigation
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background,
    central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing

 

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of day and community services
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
  • Valid driver’s license
