Job Summary and Qualifications

  • You will participate as an administrative member of the leadership team and assume the 24-hour responsibility and direction of the operations of the Adult Critical Care Units as well as direct oversight of one of the individual Adult Critical Care Units as needed
  • You will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of comprehensive Adult Critical Care Nursing services by planning, directing, managing, and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the units. Responsible for problem resolution within assigned areas
  • You will maintain current competency with the nursing skills required for the position, and demonstrate knowledge regarding Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in the areas assigned
  • You will interact with Regional and Corporate personnel, when appropriate or as directed by CNO, and assure facility compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and all other Federal, State, and local requirements/regulations in all areas of responsibility

What qualifications you will need:

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing BSN required
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or related health field required (or actively in progress) required
  • Minimum 3 years experience in an acute care setting  required
  • Minimum of 1 year management and leadership experience required
  • BLS, ACLS Certification required
  • Certification required in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or Nursing Administration, or other applicable nursing certification preferred
