Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking a Director of Crisis Services to provide leadership for the agency's 24/7 crisis response and stabilization programs. This position helps ensure individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies receive timely, coordinated care. The role works closely with agency leadership to strengthen crisis services and support continuity of care across the organization. Primary Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Master's degree in psychology, social services, or other behavioral health fields.
EXPERIENCE: Specialist - minimum 5 years of supervisory and administrative experience
Experience in community mental health.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC 388-877-0500. Must maintain a Washington State Department of Health license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Expert - established subject matter expert with 7+ years of relevant experience. Previous budget management experience.
LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC).

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment: Office, residential treatment facility.
Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is required to:
Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Lift, carry, push, and pull:
Up to 10 pounds (frequently)
Up to 20 pounds (occasionally)
Up to 50 pounds (seldom)
Use hands and arms for reaching, handling, and manipulation, including reaching above shoulder level.
Have visual acuity and peripheral vision sufficient to read written materials and observe surroundings.
Have hearing sufficient to communicate effectively.
