    A growing and established organization in the employee benefits and healthcare services space is seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting to lead its accounting function and oversee day-to-day financial operations.

    This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys balancing team management with active involvement in the close process, financial reporting, controls, and operational accounting. The position partners closely with executive leadership and plays a key role in supporting the organization's continued growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and develop the corporate accounting team
    • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and month-end close activities
    • Manage account reconciliations, financial controls, and accounting processes
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
    • Present financial results and analysis to executive leadership
    • Drive process improvements and strengthen accounting operations
    • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and reporting requirements

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility
    • Experience managing accounting teams and core accounting functions
    • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and close processes
    • Experience presenting financial results to senior leadership
    • Proven ability to mentor and develop accounting staff
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • CPA preferred

    Preferred Background

    • Experience within healthcare services, benefits administration, insurance, professional services, or other highly regulated industries
    • Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where leaders wear multiple hats
