Director, Continuous Improvement
Richardson, TX | On-Site Manufacturing Leadership
Compensation: $210,000–$220,000 base target + 25% annual bonus + RSU opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Director of Continuous Improvement to lead Lean and Six Sigma transformation across a large, complex manufacturing operation in Richardson, TX.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a proven CI executive who can move beyond individual projects and build a true culture of continuous improvement across an entire site and value stream.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of Continuous Improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, manufacturing operations, change management, and people leadership experience.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute the site's Continuous Improvement strategy in partnership with senior business and operations leadership.
Lead multi-level CI teams and drive improvement initiatives across multiple business functions.
Establish consistent process-improvement standards, methodologies, and metrics across the operation.
Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, including Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, PDCA/DMAIC, productivity initiatives, and process optimization.
Identify opportunities to improve capacity, productivity, labor utilization, line design, layouts, and overall operational efficiency.
Coach, mentor, and develop CI professionals and operational leaders.
Influence leaders and teams across a matrix organization, including situations where direct authority is limited.
Collaborate with regional and global CI leaders to share best practices and drive consistency.
Lead change-management initiatives and help translate improvement strategies into measurable business results.
What We're Looking For
10+ years of professional experience, with significant experience in Continuous Improvement.
Proven experience leading a CI transformation or deployment within a complex manufacturing environment.
Strong Lean and Six Sigma background; Master Black Belt or equivalent experience preferred.
Significant manufacturing operations experience — this is not a purely corporate CI role.
Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements in operational efficiency, productivity, capacity, cost, or quality.
Experience working within a matrix organization and influencing without direct authority.
Strong change-management, project-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation & Incentives
Base salary: Targeting $210,000–$220,000
Annual bonus: 25%
RSU opportunity: Sign-on RSUs may be negotiable in the range of $15,000–$30,000 per year, with a 2-year vesting schedule
