Director of Compliance
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Compensation: $225,000

A growing healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Compliance to lead and oversee its compliance program, regulatory initiatives, risk management efforts, and internal compliance culture. This individual will serve as a key advisor to leadership, ensuring the organization maintains the highest standards of regulatory compliance and ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide compliance policies, procedures, and programs.
- Monitor federal and state regulatory requirements and ensure organizational compliance.
- Lead compliance audits, investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
- Oversee compliance reporting, documentation, and regulatory communications.
- Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, regulators, and legal counsel.
- Manage vendor and third-party compliance oversight processes.
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs across the organization.
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
- Partner closely with Operations, HR, Finance, and Legal teams to integrate compliance into daily business practices.
- Lead responses to regulatory inquiries, audits, investigations, and incident reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Significant compliance leadership experience within healthcare or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, compliance programs, auditing, and risk management.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies, audits, investigations, and compliance reporting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
