    Morehouse Healthcare is seeking a Director of Clinical Practice. This individual will be responsible for providing overall clinical administrative direction, coordination and management of the delivery of services necessary to support the clinical practices.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This role requires that the Director I of Clinical Operations possess the ability to lead, engage, analyze and identify opportunities that support growth and sustainability of the clinical component of the practice:

    • Oversee the budget as it relates to the clinical area, policy implementation, and a range of clinical administrative tasks.
    • Engage in oversight of core service delivery activities, including nurse management and clinical support staff; clinical training initiatives to promote staff development, ensuring patient education is an integral part of the patient experience and skills enhancement to promote overall clinical operational efficiency.
    • Assures the clinic performs with high standards of care, measure and improve clinical workflows and implement standard best practices.
    • Provide supervision of nurse leadership through empowering them to lead by managing up their team to function at the top of their license and certification.
    • Engage nurse leadership in owning and promoting optimal customer service and process improvement initiatives.
    • Lead relationship management with internal and external customers. Utilize analytics and surveys to review and interpret data directly affecting the delivery of clinical services.
    • Engage and collaborate with other executive team leaders (including providers, quality) to support overall operations of the clinical enterprise.
    • Provide fiscal oversight for budgetary and strategic planning to support clinical operations and support the mission and vision of the clinical enterprise.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Georgia Registered Nurse License
    • Basic Life Insurance License (BLS) certification
    • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in an ambulatory setting managing teams inclusive of clinical managers and support staff; understanding of different clinical business models
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and database and data analysis applications

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelors' Degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required, Masters in (Business administration, Health Care administration, Public Health) degree preferred;
    • EPIC experience
