Family Health Center of Worcester (FHCW) is committed to providing high-quality healthcare to families in underserved communities. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Clinical Operations to join our leadership team.
Position Summary: The Director of Clinical Operations will provide strategic direction and oversight for the day-to-day business operations of all FHCW sites. This role focuses on enhancing organizational effectiveness, improving patient access and experience, and implementing key process improvements across our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workflow processes to maximize access to high-quality care while supporting revenue goals
- Lead initiatives to improve patient and staff engagement and retention
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to standardize processes and procedures
- Manage budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation
- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of assigned staff
- Ensure culturally and linguistically competent care delivery
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare administration field required; Master's degree strongly preferred
- Current, unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts
- 5-7 years of direct experience in ambulatory care setting
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in health systems management and quality improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Bilingual skills (English and another language relevant to our patient population) preferred
