    Position Summary

    The Home Health Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for policy and procedures, integrations, and managing other programs as it relates to federal and state regulations and compliance. This role focuses on regulatory, quality, and overall best clinical operations practices.

    Position Specific Responsibilities

    • • Leads the annual process of policy review/ revision and ensures updates to policies are documented and disseminated based on changes in federal or state requirements.
    • Supports/provides education related to regulatory compliance, regulatory changes, and general knowledge development for all team members.
    • Works with programs on preparation for accreditation.
    • Provides oversight for the review and revision of policies and procedures for home health programs.
    • Anticipates industry changes that require flexibility and application of change management principles to successfully navigate regulatory, quality, and best practice needs.
    • Builds and leverages cross-functional, collaborative relationships to achieve shared company goals.
    • Provides support and effective leadership, promotes a culture of accountability and process ownership, and encourages professional development among team members.
    • Establishes/identifies best practices and promotes minimum practice standards for clinical team members in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and other leaders
    • Works with senior executives in the identification and prioritization of quality metrics, outcomes, care delivery approaches, initiatives to implement sustainable change, and program-level process improvement.
    • Champions clinical and quality initiatives as part of the Clinical Services leadership team and assumes leadership of initiatives as identified by senior executives.
    • Works with department leaders from Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Communications, and Sales to ensure efforts are aligned.
    • Oversees the application of data analytics to support Company, Division, Region, and Program quality goals.
    • Provides consultation in areas of subject matter expertise.
    • Seeks opportunities to learn from others internal and external to the Company.
    • Identifies opportunities for practice enhancement that promote efficiency and quality care outcomes.
    • Actively participates in budget reviews, strategic planning, growth initiatives, and departmental functions to support Company goals.
    • Supports integration and special projects for the enterprise.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing, informatics, or data analytics required. Master's degree preferred
    • Minimum of three (3) years experience in healthcare leadership required; five (5) years preferred.
    • Experience with system implementation and project leadership strongly preferred.
    • Multi-site home health experience strongly preferred.
    • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist license or COMPACT license is preferred.
