Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership:
Oversee all aspects of the clinical engineering program, ensuring optimal performance of medical equipment.
Lead a team of supervisors and technical staff, providing mentorship, performance management, and professional development.
Ensure preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration of medical equipment meet quality and compliance standards.
Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement:
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (CIHQ, DNV, Joint Commission) and hospital policies.
Collaborate with clinical leadership to align biomedical services with patient care priorities.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and capital planning for equipment procurement and lifecycle management.
Financial & Business Management:
Oversee departmental budgets, financial performance, and cost-control measures.
Identify opportunities for organic growth, operational savings, and service expansion.
