Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Engineering Director to spearhead our land development division in Dallas. Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Steer the planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects, ensuring all deliverables align with the firm’s high standards for quality and innovation.
Division Stewardship: Oversee the entire project lifecycle—from initial feasibility to final construction administration—maintaining strict adherence to budgets and aggressive schedules.
Team Mentorship: Direct and develop a talented team of engineers and EITs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional licensure.
Technical Authority: Lead the preparation and review of sophisticated construction documents, leveraging advanced design software to solve complex site challenges.
Client Integration: Act as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders and clients, translating intricate engineering requirements into successful project outcomes.
Quality Governance: Implement rigorous quality control protocols across all civil engineering outputs to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in civil land development.
Software Proficiency: Expert command of AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with Revit.
Preferred Qualifications
Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with North Texas municipal codes and permitting processes.
Leadership Pedigree: Proven track record of managing departmental P&L or leading large-scale engineering teams.
Advanced Tools: Experience integrating BIM workflows into traditional civil land development projects.
