Overview:

Konica Minolta is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director of Channel Marketing & Enablement to join the team. The Director of Channel Marketing & Enablement will lead the strategies, programs, communications, and learning experiences that strengthen sales effectiveness, accelerate dealer growth, increase solution adoption, and improve business performance across Konica Minolta’s direct and indirect sales channels.

 

This is a highly visible leadership role for an energetic, commercially minded leader who sees opportunities, acts with urgency, and turns bold ideas into scalable programs. The Director will work closely with sales, marketing, product, business development, human resources, and executive leadership to anticipate the needs of the business and ensure employees, sales teams, and dealer partners have the knowledge, skills, tools, programs, and resources required to compete and win.

 

The Director will lead a high-performing team responsible for channel marketing, incentive programs, sales and partner communications, sales readiness, and learning and development. This leader will challenge established thinking, introduce innovative approaches, and apply industry knowledge, customer insight, and performance data to create experiences that engage audiences and deliver measurable business impact.

Success in this role requires deep experience in the office technology, business technology, managed services, production print, industrial print, or a closely related manufacturer, dealer, distributor, or channel-driven industry. The successful candidate will understand how manufacturers, direct sales organizations, dealers, and partners work together to bring solutions to market and generate profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

Drive Channel Growth and Business Performance

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel marketing and learning strategy that strengthens dealer engagement, increases sales effectiveness, accelerates solution adoption, and supports revenue growth across direct and indirect channels.
  • Translate corporate objectives into integrated programs that improve partner performance, employee capability, customer outcomes, and business results.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, providing insights and recommendations on channel growth opportunities, market trends, workforce capability, partner development, and commercial performance.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, anticipate business challenges, and introduce innovative approaches that drive competitive advantage and long-term growth.

 

Drive Dealer, Partner, and Sales Engagement

  • Develop and continuously optimize dealer development programs, partner engagement strategies, sales readiness initiatives, and channel marketing programs that increase participation, adoption, productivity, and revenue generation.
  • Create scalable programs, communications, tools, and resources that help dealers and sales teams effectively position, market, and sell Konica Minolta's products, services, and solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with dealers, partners, sales leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure programs address real business needs and deliver measurable value.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer, seller, and partner, leveraging insights to continuously improve program effectiveness and audience engagement.

 

Build a High-Impact Learning and Development Ecosystem

  • Lead the enterprise learning and development strategy, creating innovative learning experiences that accelerate onboarding, professional development, leadership growth, and sales capability.
  • Design scalable learning journeys that leverage modern learning methodologies, digital technologies, and adult learning principles to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development strategies that improve organizational performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, curiosity, innovation, and professional development across the organization.

Develop and Optimize Commercial Programs and Incentives

  • Lead the strategy, design, execution, and optimization of sales incentives, dealer promotions, financing offers, rebate programs, channel investments, and engagement initiatives that support strategic business objectives.
  • Evaluate promotional structures, pricing programs, bundled offers, financing options, and incentive investments to maximize adoption, profitability, and business impact.
  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product leadership to ensure programs are financially sound, operationally scalable, and aligned with growth priorities.
  • Introduce innovative program structures that motivate desired behaviors while delivering measurable value for both Konica Minolta and its dealer network.
  • Experience building business cases, forecasting outcomes, and presenting investment recommendations to executive leadership.

 

Drive Measurement, Analytics, and Financial Accountability

  • Establish clear success metrics and performance frameworks for channel marketing programs, learning initiatives, incentive investments, communications, and partner engagement activities.
  • Analyze program performance and business results using data, market insights, participation metrics, and financial outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement and investment optimization.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards that clearly communicate program effectiveness, adoption trends, return on investment, and business impact.
  • Possess strong financial acumen with the ability to model, evaluate, and calculate program economics, promotional profitability, financing scenarios, incentive effectiveness, and return on investment to guide decision-making and resource allocation.

 

Build and Lead a High-Performing Organization

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for channel marketing, dealer programs, learning and development, communications, incentives, and sales readiness.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement where employees are empowered to challenge conventional thinking and develop creative solutions.
  • Manage departmental budgets, vendors, resources, and strategic priorities to maximize effectiveness and business impact.
  • Establish scalable processes, governance models, and operational frameworks that enable efficient execution while maintaining flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in channel marketing, dealer or partner programs, sales enablement, sales readiness, learning and development, sales communications, incentives, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling programs that drive sales effectiveness, partner engagement, solution adoption, and business performance.

Leadership & Strategic Capabilities

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify business opportunities, establish a compelling vision, and translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success influencing leaders, stakeholders, and teams across functions, even when direct authority is limited.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate strategies, recommendations, and results with clarity and credibility.
  • Experience leading organizational change, driving adoption of new programs, and building long-term capability across sales and partner organizations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, resource allocation, investment evaluation, and ROI analysis.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining focus and executional excellence.

Industry & Channel Expertise

  • Deep knowledge of the office technology, business technology, managed services, production print, industrial print, or a related channel-driven industry.
  • Strong understanding of dealer, distributor, and partner ecosystems, including channel economics, operating models, marketing capabilities, sales processes, and growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of direct and indirect sales models and how manufacturers, sales organizations, dealers, and partners work together to drive market adoption and revenue growth.
  • Proven experience creating and managing dealer, partner, or channel-focused marketing programs, promotions, and incentive initiatives.

Marketing, Enablement & Learning Expertise

  • Experience developing and executing sales enablement, channel marketing, sales communications, readiness, engagement, or performance improvement programs.
  • Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, curriculum development, learning technologies, and behavior-change methodologies.
  • Experience conducting needs assessments, designing learning journeys, and delivering development programs across multiple learning formats.
  • Ability to leverage industry trends, customer insights, and innovative approaches to create engaging and impactful learning and enablement experiences.

Analytical & Operational Excellence

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data, research, business metrics, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, resources, and operational priorities for large-scale programs and initiatives.
  • Experience utilizing learning platforms, content management systems, CRM tools, analytics platforms, and sales enablement technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure program performance and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in learning and development, instructional design, change management, channel marketing, program management, or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation, capability-building, or large-scale organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Experience working within a manufacturer, dealer, distributor, or complex channel-based organization.
