Job Description: Director of Cardiovascular Services

Location: Miami, FL

Our Client, a prominent healthcare facility in Miami, is seeking a Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead and manage the operations of its Cardiovascular Department. This key leadership position is tasked with driving quality improvement, fiscal responsibility, productivity, and patient satisfaction in alignment with goals and objectives set by upper management. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the department delivers high-quality service to patients, their representatives, physicians, and staff, while also focusing on the efficient productivity and cost minimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the daily operations of the assigned patient care areas within the Cardiovascular Department.
  • Achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives as established by upper management.
  • Ensure staff performance aligns with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a liaison for patients and their representatives, physicians, and employees, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Manage departmental responsibilities efficiently, adhering to budgetary constraints and operational excellence.
  • Lead a team of 20 FTEs, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or hold a Recognized Compact Licensure, subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements.
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • RCVT certification preferred.
  • Must have experience as a Director or Manager in a Cath Lab.
  • Proficiency in managing 4 Labs with Neurointerventional Suite with Biplane Angiography, Electrophysiology (EP) / Echo.
  • Must demonstrate a proven track record of operational efficiency, team leadership, and strategic planning.
