The Director of Business Technology Solutions provides strategic leadership for aligning technology solutions, business processes, and data with Carroll University's institutional priorities. This role leads Business Analysis, Application Development, Project Delivery, Enterprise Applications, and Data & Analytics, partnering across the University to improve processes, deliver effective solutions, and advance strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for Business Technology Solutions, ensuring technology initiatives, business processes, data, and solutions align with University priorities and goals.
Lead and develop teams responsible for Business Analysis, Application Development, Project Delivery, Enterprise Applications, and Data & Analytics, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with University leaders and campus stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities, and translate strategic and operational priorities into effective technology solutions.
Lead business process analysis and improvement efforts, evaluating people, process, data, and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and the campus experience.
Provide thought leadership on technology, AI, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions that support institutional transformation and strategic objectives.
Oversee the evaluation, selection, implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications and technology solutions.
Establish and promote standards, governance, and best practices for solution delivery, application development, business analysis, data, and project execution.
Oversee the effectiveness and continued evolution of enterprise applications, integrations, and technology solutions, identifying opportunities to improve, modernize, consolidate, or replace existing capabilities.
Partner with technical and functional teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
Provide leadership for data and analytics capabilities that strengthen data accessibility, governance, reporting, and data-informed decision-making across the University.
Oversee the prioritization and delivery of technology initiatives, balancing institutional priorities, business value, resource capacity, risk, and dependencies.
Build strong relationships across the University and serve as a trusted technology partner and advisor to campus leadership and stakeholders.
Collaborate with OIT Leadership team to review and maintain strategic roadmaps for business technology capabilities, enterprise systems, and data.
Perform additional duties as required.
