The Director, Business Finance CLG is a senior finance leader responsible for driving financial performance, strategic decision-making, and working capital optimization across CLG and related catalyst businesses. Serving as the primary Finance partner for supply chain and commercial finance activities, this role provides leadership on purchasing decisions, contract structures, customer payment terms, and cash flow management. The Director partners closely with the Finance Leader of Energy Solutions TST and business leadership to align financial and operational priorities, deliver actionable insights, and provide Board-ready visibility into key business risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
Lead financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and executive decision support for CLG and related businesses.
Drive visibility into financial risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve profitability, cash flow, working capital, and return on investment.
Develop business cases, investment analyses, and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.
Partner with Corporate Finance and business leadership to align plans with enterprise objectives and drive accountability for results.
Supply Chain & Working Capital Leadership
Serve as the senior Finance leader for supply chain, working capital, and commercial finance activities across CLG, Clean Fuels, and related catalyst businesses.
Challenge and influence purchasing decisions to ensure capital is deployed effectively and purchases are made only when operationally and financially justified.
Lead financial evaluation of purchasing decisions, inventory strategies, contract structures, customer payment terms, and cash flow implications.
Lead working capital strategy across the business, ensuring purchasing decisions, inventory investments, supplier commitments, and customer payment structures are aligned with cash flow, profitability, and return objectives.
Partner with the Finance Leader of Energy Solutions TST and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations.
Provide executive and Board-level insight into working capital performance, supply chain initiatives, and related risks and opportunities.
Business Partnership & Performance Management
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership by translating financial results into actionable business recommendations.
Own the review and interpretation of key financial and operational performance metrics.
Partner with business leaders to identify performance gaps and implement sustainable improvement plans.
Governance & Financial Stewardship
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support audit, tax, treasury, and governance activities.
Lead CLG Joint Venture reporting, governance, stakeholder communications, and alignment with consolidated financial reporting.
Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness
Influence and drive outcomes across a matrixed organization through strong leadership and collaboration.
Develop and coach finance talent while fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and strong financial stewardship.
Establish effective operating rhythms for forecasting, performance reviews, and business planning.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a global or matrixed organization.
Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or other asset-intensive businesses.
Strong expertise in working capital management, supply chain finance, cash flow optimization, and commercial decision support.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders, drive organizational alignment, and lead change.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills.
Experience with ERP, FP&A, and business intelligence tools.
Joint venture experience preferred.
Manufacturing finance experience strongly preferred.
